We continue to stock Orientique, as it is a fabulous range.. Fabric & Style
Manufactured in 100% certified organic cotton sourced with the Global Organic Textile Standard certification, made from certified organic raw materials with care and attention to detail in India, it has a crinkle texture, to maintain the crinkles just roll and twist after laundering to store.
There are loads of details in this gorgeous dress, a rounded neckline is finished off with a tie closure leading into buttons through fabric loop closures. The vertical white embroidered seam is where the 3/4 batwing sleeves join the dress, they are very wide with elastic at the hem. Two layers are sewn in gathered, so there is a heap of fabric creating a very generous fit with loads of movement, these layers are separated with the same white embroidered detail as the sleeve seam.
The print of Pamploma has been inspired by the Murals at Palace of Music in Barcelona, vibrant yet soft florals in various sizes are pieced together in a patchwork style print, exclusively hand drawn for Orientique.
Fit & Function
A generous fit with the shape, really comfortable and flattering and lovely and cool for summer, the layers swish when you move, and feels fantastic on, the really wide batwing sleeves gives it an edge. Although this is a crinkle cotton, I did give it a light steam for photographic purposes and to smooth out the packing creases, this also relaxes the fabric leading to a more generous fit.
For a visual size reference I am wearing the 18, am 170cm tall and Apple shaped, it finishes partway down my shins. Please note that any other fashion items or jewellery have been photographed for style suggestion only.
