I have brought in a range of beach cover ups, capes & kimono's from my scarf supplier for a budget pop to go over any outfit. They are very simple in design, basically a large rectangle which only has a very short 10cm side seam just under the space where your arm goes through, the hemline has been left unfinished, intentionally frayed in a fairly dense blend of 60% viscose with 40% cotton.
With a square cut hemline, it is essentially a large rectangle, it has no closure just pop on and go, a blend of patterened panels, although it is one piece of fabric in circle shapes using pinks, olive, bone, black and burgundy, with a smudged animal print. This shape is loose and flowy, not designed to be fitted, so it will fit and suit any size and body shape, I am normally a plus 20, I am 170cm tall and apple shaped, this fits me with loads of room to spare, and falls to just below my knees.
