A Pashmina is a fine type of cashmere wool, the textiles made from it were first woven in Kashmir, the term Pashmina has morphed into a term for a larger sized scarf as well, generally larger than a typical scarf, more similar to a shawl or stole, and intended to be worn around the shoulders as opposed to around the neck.

Just to be clear this is not a true Pashmina as it is a polyester fabric, but the style is there, it can be worn as a scarf or a shawl, it's up to you.  The fabric is of a course weave, with the pattern in panels of paisley in all shades of pink and blue.  The panels are broken up with horizontal stripes of cerise with black mixed with tiny stitches of cerise, pink, blues and greens.  The long edges are hemmed with the shorter edges woven into a row of tassels.

Overall approximate size is 70 x 170cm.
