Fabric & Style
Versatile kaftan style top which is basically a long oblong shape, there are no discernible sleeves, just a row of horizontal stitching forming a gap for your arm to go through, the side seam is a row of stitching 17cm in from the edge of the fabric which stops 17cm from the hemline, the shorter edges have been hemmed with black binding, it has a wide rounded neckline. Manufactured using a blend of 60% rayon with 40% polyester that has a slight stretch and the feel of a jersey knit, with care and attention to detail in India to exacting standards.
The print of David has proven to be incredibly popular, selling out in other styles, it is striking featuring the brightest pink with a host of other colours, from blue, green, white, lime, orange, yellow and Black, in a random floral.
Fit & Function
I am not normally a fan of straight side seam stitching, but this one is fine due to the width of the fabric it is very comfortable to wear, the draping is amazing on the sides, the treatment for the arm hole is wide, allowing to be layered over a long sleeve knit for warmth. For a visual size reference I am wearing the 20 I am 170cm tall and Apple shaped, it just covers my butt!
