Why I continue to stock Orientique

I have been stocking the Orientique Australia brand for a few years now, and I will continue to do so for many reasons.

It sells incredibly well, often selling out in a season, so from a business perspective it is a win/win. Their styles are on trend and figure flattering and quite unique from many other brands.  It is an Australian based and owned label with headquarters in Brisbane, it sells succesfully world wide with showrooms in the UK, New Zealand, Canada and Europe.

Manufactured in India to exacting standards in sizes 8 through 24, Orientique only work with factories that ensure Fair Wages and Working Conditions with no child labour. Specializing in natural fabrics, their “plant to garment” philosophy means that the cotton, linen and rayon used in all garments has been carefully selected from some of the worlds finest mills and woven specifically for the Orientique production. Orientique proudly displays all natural garments with the distinctive “Orientique Naturally Australian” tag.

Every print is unique and exclusive to Orientique, most are hand paintings or drawings that are developed into digital art.  All print fabrics are screened by hand by artisans that cut and create screens for each and every colour.

Two ranges are released seasonally, for this current spring/summer 2021 range they have taken the extra step of ensuring that fabrics used are 100% certified organic, it has taken three years to proudly say that this season all fashion voiles, linens and cottons have been produced in certified organic mills carrying the Global Organic Textile Standard - how good is that?

A huge benefit of using Organic fabric is the much lower water consumption, it takes up to 91% less water, it is better for the planet and it's people as no harmful pesticides, genetically modified organisms or toxic chemicals are used.

They are also a really good brand to work with, always looking out for their retailers, during early Covid lockdown they sent all of my autumn/winter stock out early, post dated invoices and gave me extended trading terms as well as checking in to make sure everything was on track.  They also have a local showroom here in Adelaide so I can touch, feel and see before I order, and the rep is an awesome person who lives so close to me I can shout from my backyard and she could possibly hear me! Lol..

Orientique is a vibrant, unique and colourful range which is very well made in natural fabrics that will last, so I will always stock their ranges...

Until next time

Kim
