I love to bring you something different and I think this Bird of Paradise double horseshoe necklace is just that. I met the creator of these stunning hand made pieces – Erika Harder at the recent Bower Bird market here in Adelaide and organised a shipment as I thought that you would also love her work.
Handmade with polymer clay which is robust but needs some care, don’t worry it comes with how to love me instructions, this necklace is made up of a double horseshoe, one larger than the other so they sit just perfectly, it is fully adjustable by way of a small 24 carat gold plated slider. The horseshoe shapes have been threaded onto fine black waxed cord and finished with large round beads of the same clay which are a feature in themselves. In a stunning colour blend of teal, turquoise, green, peach, navy and magenta it is beautiful..
It does not have a closure just slip over your head ready to go in seconds, it is adjustable, extended fully the approximate overall length of the cord is 108cm with the horseshoe hanging a further 9cm, it comes gift boxed so could also be the perfect gift.
